LYR Capital is developing an Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform designed to allow employees to access a portion of wages they have already earned before their regular payday.
Instead of functioning as a conventional personal loan, the platform is designed to settle advances directly through the employer's payroll system.
The platform is being developed together with the technology team at Systech Berhad, leveraging payroll and human capital management capabilities to facilitate reconciliation between employee advances and payroll data.
The commercial model is based on a transaction fee per advance rather than interest charged on a loan balance.
